Jay’s First Cinema Trip
Well, baby #3 hasn’t poked his little head out yet! So, stuck for something to do today, we took the kids to the cinema at Yorkgate to see Madagascar.
This was Jay’s first time at the cinema, so we weren’t sure he’d sit for the length of the film. Sure, he’ll sit quietly for an episode of Balamory, but then I’d sit quietly for half-an-hour if Miss Hoolie asked me to!
Madagascar was great, by the way. As usual with Dreamworks movies, there was something for the kids and the adults and the storyline was brilliant. I recommend going to see it, although it’ll probably be out on rental soon.
Anyway, Jay managed brilliantly. He got restless about halfway through, but a packet of crisps and a drink distracted him until about fifteen minutes before the end of the movie. When he started getting noisy, I took him out and we went for a walk, returning just in time to catch the end!
He’s been babbling about lions and zebras ever since!
Madagascar is soo good, I hope youll see the entire film soon! My girl loves the penguins, even if they ARE psychotic!
Yeah, often when I take Ray to the cinema, I only get to watch the movie properly when it comes out on DVD!
Those films are so funny though!
I didn’t think it was a patch on the incredibles. The Lemurs were class though!
Loved the Incredibles! Is it me, or did you think Mrs Incredible/Elastigirl was hot?
